Have a interest in all things radio from domestic sets to

A really superb website in every way.
I am new to repairing radios although I have been messing about with
electronics since I was 10.
I have found the information most helpfull I intend to immerse myself

This Forum is a good example of what the Internet SHOULD be used for!
IMHO it readily fills a need for the serious radio enthusiast - and
not just for restoration, either!

There is much discussion about a materials problem called "tin
whiskers" on the web, the description of the "hairs"
inside the metal cases is rather resembling this phenomenon.

Interesting website - re. Bush Tr122 Radio - This model was designed
by a colleague - Jack Harris at the Chiswick Laboratories and
manufactured by Bush India. It has excellent LW sensitivity and almost
no shortwave breakthrough on MW and LW.

I have a Philips
EL3302 Cassette Tape Recoder. The 2 belts inside the machine have gone
to goo. I need to replace them. Any idea who would still be selling
these items.??
