- How did you find this site?: just typed in the name of my vintage machine in my web browser
- How long have you been collecting vintage radios?: Not a collector really - sorry!

I have an old EL 3302A/15P cassette recorder, of course, the Philips machine! What else can it be with that name! :)

As you no doubt know, the drive belts on all the old machines practially melted with age! I had 2 of the recorders plus a Philips reel to reel which I no longer have. I substituted the drive belts with others which seem to work okay. Is there any possibility of getting a manual for my recorder?

Interesting site, wish I had visited it before NOW!

Regards

I bought a reproduction model BUSH TR82B/WOOD for £14.99 . I am happy with my radio. OK, the classic early transistor radio, the TR82, may be better, etc., but for the money I paid, my reproduction is not that bad. The handle feels strong and the wood effect of the front/back is beautiful. I love the tuning dial as it is very easy to tune and find the stations. Soundwise, it is not a TIVOLI, but for the money I paid, FM is not bad either. I don't understand why some people paid "£50" for their

Excellent information, so well presented too.
Long live interest in the products of yesterday.
How much of today's 'technology' will be about and repairable in 50 years time (10years?!)
Again well done ,keep it up

Hi, I noticed that you have a Philips L3G01T, and that you were wondering about the strap. I have an original (advertised for sale today (18 Aug 07) on ebay), and the strap is tan plastic. I have a load for sale actually, should you be interested. By the way, your site is excellent. Cheers
