Privacy Policy

When you join the discussion forum you have to enter your email address. This will only be used for forum administration and will not be used for any other purpose or distributed in any way. You can choose to hide your email address from other forum users - this is your choice but I recommend that you choose this option to prevent spambots and viruses picking it up.

This forum uses cookies to track who you are and whether or not you are logged on. Cookies are only used for forum members, not visitors. The cookies contain your username, password and whether or not you are logged in. If you choose to remain logged in a "persistent cookie" is used, otherwise a "session cookie" is used. If you disable cookies you will not be able to use the forum properly.

The forum login is NOT via a secure server. I therefore recommend that you do not use the same password as you use for secure online activities such as banking, and also that you use a different password to the one you use on eBay etc.

If you order CD-ROMs or service data vis the website, the personal details you enter will only be used for processing that order. No other use will be made of the details, nor will they be distributed in any way. If you are paying by PayPal you may wish to refer to their privcy policy.

If you choose to receive emails telling you when the website is updated, your email address only will be added to a list stored on my PC and home file server (not on the Internet), which is used solely for sending the update emails. You will probably get 2 or 3 emails a year. This is an opt-in list (you have to implicitly choose to be added - the default is to not be added). You can remove yourself from the Website Update Email List page, by emailing me directly or replying to the email. No other use will be made of the email list, nor will it be distributed in any way.

In essence, I hate spam and viruses, and I'm doing all I can to protect those of you who trust me with your contact details etc., to ensure that you don't receive any such junk as a result of my actions.
